芬兰"现象教学"在世外小学

芬兰"现象教学"在世外小学

没有早教、没有考试、没有补习班,却在PISA(国际组织举办的对15岁学生能力评估测验)中称霸,这就是芬兰的教育。芬兰的教育系统也是分学科的课程模式,最近几年为了面对未来的挑战,开始在全国范围内试行"现象教学"。

现象教学(Phenomenon Based Learning),或称"跨学科学习模块"。芬兰的现象式教学让所学回归生活,鼓励学生以生活中的真实现象或学生关心的主题为学习内容。

11月21日下午,来自于芬兰韦斯屈莱大学师范教育系主任SirpaEskel?-Haapanen、芬兰于韦斯屈莱市曼柯拉综合学校校长PipsaTeerijoki、芬兰于韦斯屈莱大学教育与心理学院、教师培训学校讲师Merja KristiinaKuosmanen亲临世外小学。

Merja老师在体育馆为世外小学境内部四年级学生进行现场授课。所授课主题为"我们周围的世界"。这是一堂英语课,但是每个孩子要选择自己想了解的三个国家,并用英语说出每个国家的人口、首都等情况。这样学生将学习英语和地理结合了起来,一堂课就学习到了英语和地理两方面的知识。

在本堂课上,芬兰教育专家运用多种教学手段,如小组合作、制作海报、线上答题等等。教师让学生将自己的海报挂在七个画架上,进行"画廊行走"的活动,通过互动学习,相互提高。学生们在上课期间,多次自我探索。

展示课后,芬兰教育专家与与会教师们进行了现场交流。就"如何激发学生学习内动力"、"如何在40个人以上的班级中组织学生进行有质量的讨论?"、"如何保证每一个学生在课堂上获得了提升?"等这些问题进行了讨论。

在座的老师们,纷纷表示本次活动受益匪浅。在这种"现象"教学中,传承了"做中学"的理念,让学生在项目合作中学习构图技能、学会解决问题、学会对他人的观点或身边现象,进行反思批判,真正做到了"以学生为中心"。从现象或话题的选择、到课堂实践和学习,再到学习效果评估、学生都是实施的主体。

值得一提的是我们世外小朋友在课堂上的表现:每个孩子都能用英语流利地表达自己的想法并和老师积极互动;都能在组内合作探究;都能根据课堂规则行动。收放自如、自信有礼、落落大方。不愧是"世外"的宝宝!
