能成为融合部足球校队一员是一种什么感觉？这种感觉就是连走路都带BGM；这种感觉就是同学们向你投来羡慕的眼神；这种感觉就是以校队为荣的自豪和骄傲。
How do you feel when you become a member of PYP Soccer Team? It feels like walking with background music. Your classmates envy you so much. It is a feeling of being proud of yourself as a member of a school team.
足球队在世外小学融合部并不算特色，却是一种传统，当校队的历史谱写了十五年之久，更成为了一种情怀。近两年，由于疫情的原因，曾经一度暂停了足球校队的活动。但在本学期，足球校队承载着这份荣耀和情怀又回来了！
The WFLPYP Soccer team is a tradition, which had 15-year history. In the past two years, due to COVID-19, it was paused. However this semester, the Soccer Team is back again!

9月底，当学校宣布进行校队活动的选拔时，吸引了整个部门四分之一的学生前来报名，这其中也包括很多女生。在近一百名报名的学生中，学校从足球技术、学生学习情况、行为规范、家长支持等各方面进行考察。最终选出了高低年级两支队伍共计32人，可谓竞争之激烈。
At the end of September, the school announced that the soccer team would select candidates. Nearly a 1/4 of the students of the whole department applied including many girls. Among the nearly 100 candidates, the school chose two levels: Junior and Senior level. Altogether 32 students were chosen according to their sporting ability. However we also took into account their academics, attitude self-management skills and parents’ support.
但也有些孩子为没有选上而伤心，教练和老师想告诉这些学生们：足球校队的门永远为你敞开，相信不断提高足球技术，你一定能行。当然，除了球技，学习也一样重要！这才是融合部全面发展的好孩子！
Some kids were upset about not being chosen as a member of the soccer team. The coach and the teachers want them to know they can still become a member as they are keeping options open, especially if students are willing to imorove their soccer skills. Of course, besides the skills, learning is important as well. It is important that all PYP students are well balanced.
如今，足球课程也成为了融合部的一大特色，在二三年级专门开始了足球课，让所有孩子都能参与这项运动、体验足球的乐趣！
Nowadays, soccer is a part of the curriculum of the PYP Section. Yr 2 and Yr 3 students have soccer lessons every week, which involves full participation of all the students. they also learn the rules, cooperate and have fun!
