科技的发展日新月异，许多我们现在还觉得不可能发生的事物，在不久的未来都有可能变成现实。就好像20年前的人们一定想象不到5G通讯、共享单车、滴滴打车、外卖订餐会如此深刻地、彻底地改变了我们如今的生活方式。随着互联网、大数据、人工智能、虚拟现实、3D打印等等技术的进步，人类的第四次科技革命正向我们大步走来！在座的每位同学都将是这场科技革命的参与者，说不定还会是发明者哦！
Science is developing everyday. Many impossible things may happen in future. 20 years ago, no one expected 5G communication, sharing bikes, Didi Taxi or door delivery food. All of them has changed our lifestyle. With the development of the Internet, data, AI, VR, 3D printing to name a few, human beings have a Science Revolution. All the students are the participatants of the revolution. Maybe you are the inventor.

Review of “Creative Ideas Principal Award”
去年的“奇思妙想”活动还历历在目，同学们独特的视角、细致的研究、精彩的视频都给大家留下了深刻的印象。此刻我们迎来了融合部第六届创新节暨“奇思妙想校长奖”颁奖典礼。
Last year’s “Creative Ideas” are still in our minds. The students used their special perspective, thoughtful research and amazing videos to impress. Now we have 6th PYP Innovation Festival “Creative Ideas Principal Award"
小学生的“奇思妙想”是一种强烈的好奇心和求知欲，是一种积极探究的状态，是一种对事物独立思考的能力，是一种个性动机下的兴趣。从九月以来，我们一起学习了很多创新方法，你们还记得吗？绑着大西瓜的角色扮演法，把两个毫不相干的物体联想在一起的组合法，还有列举法，临时小记者法、移植法等等，大家都在自己感兴趣的领域或者想探究的事物，独自或者与好友组队一起探索研究。我们填写“奇思妙想”日志，提交设计图、制作产品，非常努力得尝试解决问题。今天让我们一起来庆祝这场探究之旅！
Primary year students’ “Creative Ideas”are full of curiosity and they are eager to learn. They have the opportunity to explore, think independently and be motivated. Since September, they have learned a lot of creative methods. Do you still remember? The role play with a big watermelon. Combine two different things with each other. Listing , reporting, and the replanting methods. They have done a lot of research into their areas of interest. They researched individually or in a team. They filled in the “Creative Ideas”journal, submitted the design plan, and make the products. They tried their best to slove problems. Today let’s celebrate the research journey.
评选标准Criteria
透过许许多多的学习单和作品，我们看到了一双双善于发现问题的眼睛，你们的想法来源于生活、你们的创意天马行空，要从这么多好的作品中选出最佳作品，真是一件幸福的烦恼啊！在评选奖项时我们考虑了以下几点：第一，这个产品体现了学生的行动力。我们关心社会中的不足之处、维护所有人应享有的权利、促进平等和公平。我们根据身边人的各种需要，发挥自己的已有知识和技能找到新颖、明智和可持续的解决方案。我们为了更好地开展学习，使生活方式变得更加健康。
Through lots of lists and work, we find out many eyes were searching for the problems around us. The solutions are based on their lives. The ideas are creative. Choosing the better from the best is a tough job. While choosing the best, we consider the following points:
First, the product reflects the students’ hand-on ability. We care about the weak points in the society. We focus on the human rights, equality and fairness. We use our prior knowledge and skills to find out the new, smart and sustainable solution according to the different needs of the people around us. We try to learn better and have a healthier lifestyle.
第二，学生提交的创意必须是一个具体的产品，或者以现有的科技能实现的创意。Second, the product students submit should be a specific product or one could be achieved based on the current science and technology knowledge.
第三，项目制作的过程必须是学生独立完成，低年级学生的作品可以允许一定程度的家长参与。经过校长、老师和全体融合部学生的投票，我们最终选出了11个非常优秀的作品。
Third, the procedure should be done independly by the students. The lower year level students could ask parents for help to some extent. After voting by the principal, teachers and all the students in the PYP Section, we chose the top 11.

在评选过程中，我们还发现有许多学生的作品不仅着眼于科技，而且更关心社会中的不足之处，使我们的生活方式变得更加健康，所以这次的评选除了“奇思妙想校长奖”之外，我们增设了“Lifestyle Choices奖”和“Participation奖”。
During the processing, we find out that lots of students’ work not only focus on the science and technology, but also care about the weakness of the society which makes our lifestyle healthier. So this time, besides the “Creative Principal Award”, we set up “Lifestyle Choices” and“Participation” Awards.
