国际部三年级本学期第一个UOI单元主题是艺术，单元的中心思想是“我们每个人都以自己的方式体验艺术。”其中主要围绕了生活中不同的艺术形式来展开。
The theme of the first UOI unit of this semester is art, and the central idea of the unit is that we each experience art in our own way. It mainly introduces different art forms from different time periods.
抽象画：抽象画在我们生活中有时候很难去理解，但我们可以感受这幅画想要传递的情绪。学生们一起也创作了自己的抽象画，表达自己的心境。
Abstract painting: Abstract painting is sometimes difficult to understand in our daily lives, but we can feel the emotions that this painting wants to convey. The students also created their own abstract paintings together to express their emotions.
洞穴壁画：绘画不仅仅是在纸上。学生们通过了解绘画的历史，知道最早的绘画出现在洞穴里。大家也一起动手复制了洞穴壁画。
Cave Art: Painting is not just on paper. By understanding the history of painting, students know that the earliest paintings appeared in caves. Everyone also worked together to create their own cave paintings.
马赛克画：随后我们也尝试用马赛克拼图，拼出了一副画。让学生知道可以用不同的材料创作艺术作品，不仅仅是手绘。
Mosaic art: We looked at mosaic art from a long time ago and then designed and made our own. Through this activity students learned that art is not just drawing and painting, art can come in many different forms and shapes.
音乐：艺术不仅仅是绘画还有更多的形式，音乐也是其中之一。学生们推荐了自己喜欢的音乐，也用Garage band在ipad上创作了自己的旋律。
Music: Music is another form of art. The students recommended their favorite music and created their own melodies on the iPad using the Garage band.
出游活动：为了探索更多的艺术形式，我们走出学校。来到了悠涂画室，在画室里学生们尝试制作了猫猫雕塑。经过三个小时的创作，一个个可爱的小猫猫陆续诞生。学生们也了解了雕塑也是艺术的一种形式。
Field trip: In order to explore more art forms, we went on a field trip. Arriving at the U2 Studio, students attempted to create cat sculptures in the studio. After three hours of creation, cute little cats were born one after another. Students also learned that sculpture is also a form of art.
在最后的终结性评价里，学生们选择一个全球性议题，然后结合本单元学习过的艺术形式，选择一种艺术的表达方式，然后创作出“呼吁大家一起行动“的艺术作品。In the final summative assessment, students chose a global issue, then combined the art forms they have learned in this unit to select an artistic expression and then created an artwork that calls for everyone to take action together.
