The reins of history traverse thousands of years. Equestrianism—a brilliant gem merging sport, culture, and art. In the 18th century, Britain devised rules to follow and in 1900, it leaped into the global spotlight on the Paris Olympic stage. It has since then become an important presence on the Olympic platform.
在世外小学国际部 “活力节” 的召唤下，三年级的小骑士们走进世骑马术中心，开启了一场探秘马术魅力的奇妙之旅。
Summoned by the "Well-Being Festival" of WFL International Division third-grade students stepped into the Shiqi Equestrian Center to explore the charm of equestrianism.
活动伊始，专业马术教练以生动有趣的方式为学生们进行马术知识科普。从马术的起源与发展，到基本的马术礼仪，再到骑乘的关键知识，教练们耐心细致的讲解，让学生们对马术有了初步认知。
At the start of the event, professional equestrian coaches provided students with a lively and interesting science session on equestrian knowledge. From the origin and development of equestrianism to basic etiquette and key riding knowledge, the coaches' patient and meticulous explanations gave students a preliminary understanding of equestrianism.
紧接着，一场震撼人心的马术表演华丽上演。骏马们宛如训练有素的舞者，在教练的引导下，踏着节奏明快的鼓点，时而昂首阔步，踏出整齐有力的步伐；时而轻盈腾跃，如离弦之箭跨越障碍。
Next, a stunning equestrian performance unfolded. The horses were like highly trained dancers. Guided by the coaches, they marched with powerful and synchronized steps to the upbeat rhythm of drumbeats. They leaped nimbly like arrows leaving the bow to cross obstacles. The practice session was a stage for children to have close contact with horses.
实践环节是孩子们与马匹亲密接触的舞台。在马匹护理区域，孩子们手持毛刷，化身成温柔的 “小管家”，小心翼翼地梳理着马匹油亮的鬃毛，仿佛在为公主编织精美的长发。那专注的神情，轻柔的动作，尽显对这些 “小伙伴” 的呵护与关爱。
In the horse care area, children held brushes and became gentle "little stewards," carefully combing the horses' shiny manes. Their focused expressions and gentle movements fully demonstrated their care and love for these "little companions."
喂马时刻，胡萝卜成了孩子们与马匹沟通的甜蜜桥梁。在教练的指导下，慢慢靠近马匹，从最初的紧张到逐渐放松，享受与马匹互动的温馨时刻。
During the horse-feeding time, carrots became a sweet bridge for communication between children and horses. Under the coaches' guidance, they slowly approached the horses, transitioning from initial nervousness to gradual relaxation, and enjoying the warm moment of interaction with the horses.
最令人期待的骑马环节，堪称勇气与优雅的双重挑战。教练们耐心讲解基本马术技能，学生们在教练的帮助下，克服内心的恐惧，勇敢地跨上马背，宛如小小骑士出征。随着马匹缓缓前行，他们逐渐找到平衡，从最初的拘谨到慢慢舒展身体，感受着马背起伏的韵律，感受马术的优雅和力量。
The most anticipated horseback riding session was a dual challenge of courage and elegance. Coaches patiently explained basic equestrian skills. With the coaches' help, students overcame their inner fears and bravely mounted the horses. As the horses walked slowly, they gradually found their balance, moving from initial stiffness to slowly relaxing their bodies, feeling the rhythm of the horses' undulations and the elegance and strength of equestrianism.
午后，牵引小马的游戏为活动增添了一抹童趣。学生们牵着小马，在场地中漫步，通过与小马的近距离接触，进一步加深了对马匹习性的了解。游戏中，学生们互帮互助，团队协作精神也得到了充分展现。
In the afternoon, the pony-leading game added a touch of childlike fun to the event. Students led ponies on a stroll in the venue, further deepening their understanding of horses' habits through close contact with the animals. During the game, students helped each other, and the spirit of teamwork was fully demonstrated. Equestrianism is not just a sport but also an "elegant dialogue" jointly completed by humans and horses. Whether in the high-profile moments on the competition field or the gentle interactions in the stables, it interprets the unique philosophy of "courage and respect coexisting, technology and emotion."
马术不仅是一项运动，更是一场人与马共同完成的 “优雅对话”。无论是赛场上的高光时刻，还是马厩里的温柔互动，它都在诠释着 “勇气与尊重并存，技术与情感共生” 的独特哲学。此次马术体验活动，学生们不仅收获了丰富的马术知识，更在实践中锻炼了勇气与毅力，学会了与动物和谐相处。
In this equestrian experience activity, students not only gained rich equestrian knowledge but also exercised their courage and perseverance in practice and learned to live in harmony with animals.
