SING: When Dreams Find Their Voice 记2025世外小学国际部四年级音乐剧《欢乐好声音》

相信看过动画电影《欢乐好声音》的观众,对它温暖又励志的剧情一定不陌生。为了拯救濒临倒闭的剧院,热爱戏剧的剧院老板伯乐月先生决定举办一场歌唱比赛。来自各行各业的“选手们”怀揣梦想而来,在舞台上相识、磨合、成长,也在音乐中找回了自我、建立了友谊。那么,当这部家喻户晓的作品,由四年级的小学生来诠释,又会是怎样一番景象?

Audiences familiar with the animated film Sing will undoubtedly recognize its heartwarming and inspiring story. To save his failing theater, Buster Moon, a passionate theater owner, organizes a singing competition. Contestants from all walks of life, each with their own dreams, meet, bond, and grow on stage, rediscovering themselves and forging friendships through music. So, how would this beloved story be interpreted by Year 4 students?

作为国际部四年级“戏剧单元”的终结性评价项目,同时也是2025年世外小学国际部艺术节的重磅演出,四年级的同学们用他们的声音、舞步和创意,为大家呈现了一场关于”梦想、成长与自我发现”的音乐剧盛宴。

As the summative assessment of the Year 4 "Theater" unit and a highlight of the 2025 WFLPSID Arts Festival, the Year 4 students presented a musical feast about "dreams, growth, and self-discovery" through their voices, dance moves, and creativity.

 

一段有趣又充满发现的戏剧旅程 An exciting journey of drama and discovery

 

回望过去的一年,孩子们走过了一段既新奇又扎实的戏剧探索之旅。带着满满的好奇和热情,他们不仅学习了如何塑造角色、表达情感,还深度了解了一场演出从无到有的全过程:从剧本创意到分工合作,从角色排练到舞台呈现——一步步,孩子们走进了戏剧的世界,也打开了内心的舞台。

Looking back over the past year, the children have embarked on a fresh and rewarding journey into the world of drama. With curiosity and enthusiasm, they not only learned character building and emotional expression, but also explored the entire process of staging a performance—from scriptwriting to teamwork, rehearsals to the final show. Step by step, they discovered the magic of theater and unlocked their own inner stage. 

 

他们逐渐发现:戏剧不只是舞台上的演出,更是一种对世界的观察、一种与人沟通的方式。每一个小小的练习,都是一次自我突破;每一次排练中的坚持,都是未来闪光的积淀。

They gradually discovered that drama is not just about performance—it's a way to observe the world and connect with others. Every small exercise was a personal breakthrough; every moment of persistence in rehearsal became a foundation for future brilliance.

 

每一个孩子,都是舞台上不可替代的光芒 Every young actor lights up the stage in their own way

 

在整场音乐剧的筹备过程中,无论是站在聚光灯下的演员,还是在幕后默默努力的支持者,每一位孩子都在用自己的方式为这场演出倾注心力。

Throughout the musical's preparation, every child contributed passionately - whether shining onstage or working behind the scenes.

 

他们以小组为单位,分工合作,排练了六首主歌。从和声的精准到走位的默契,从情绪的表达到节奏的掌控,孩子们一次又一次地打磨细节,用汗水换来舞台上的自信绽放。

Working in teams, they rehearsed six main songs—perfecting harmonies, coordinating movements, expressing emotions, and mastering rhythms. Through persistent practice, their hard work blossomed into confident performances.

 

与此同时,大家还参与了电影片段的配音练习,尝试用声音赋予角色新的生命。为了营造演出氛围,同学们在Art老师的带领下,利用可回收材料亲手制作出“SING”这四个字母的大型雕塑。在动手创作的过程中,他们不仅提升了艺术表达力,也体会到了环保理念与团队合作的价值。

Meanwhile, the students also practiced dubbing movie clips, bringing characters to life through voice acting. To enhance the performance atmosphere, they crafted large "SING" sculptures from recycled materials under their art teacher's guidance. This hands-on project boosted their artistic skills while teaching the value of eco-friendliness and teamwork.

 

一场关于梦想与表达的沉浸式演出 An immersive journey of dreams and self-expression

 

终于,在艺术节演出当天,小演员们迎来了属于自己的“高光时刻”。走进全新打造的沉浸式互动剧场,孩子们用歌声与表演点亮了整个空间。观众席上,荧光棒随节奏挥舞,掌声与欢呼交织,整个剧场仿佛变成了一个巨大的共鸣体。

On the festival day, our young stars had their shining moment. In the immersive theater, their voices and performances lit up the space. The audience waved glow sticks to the beat, filling the air with cheers and applause. The whole theater became one vibrant chorus.

 

当一首首耳熟能详的歌曲响起,孩子们用最真挚的声音,唤起了观众内心的共情与回忆。特别是在最后那首后街男孩的经典之作《Larger Than Life》响起时,台上台下情感交织,不少爸爸妈妈都被瞬间带回了自己的青春时光。那一刻,音乐打破了代际的界限,舞台成为了心灵的共鸣场。

As familiar songs filled the air, the children's heartfelt voices stirred memories and emotions in the audience. When the Backstreet Boys' classic "Larger Than Life" played, the stage and crowd became one—transporting many parents back to their youth. In that moment, music bridged generations, turning the stage into a space of shared connection.

 

这不仅是一场演出,更是一场成长的历练 Where curtain calls marked new beginnings

 

对于四年级的学生们来说,这场音乐剧不仅仅是一次汇报演出,更是他们突破自我、挑战可能的一次全方位体验。有人在台上第一次大胆开口,有人学会了倾听与协作,有人发现了自己的表达天赋,有人完成了对自我的重新认识。他们在舞台上唱的每一首歌、走的每一个位,都是成长的足迹。

For these Year 4 students, the musical wasn't just a performance—it was a transformative journey. Some found their voice onstage, others mastered teamwork, many discovered hidden talents, and all gained new self-awareness. Every note sung and every step taken marked their growth.

 

戏剧教会我们的,远不止演戏本身。它教会我们倾听、理解、沟通,也教会我们如何与他人协作、与自己对话。感谢他们在这一年中带来的惊喜与感动,也感谢老师们的悉心引导与家长们的坚定支持。未来的路还很长,但我们相信,当热爱与勇气同行,孩子们的每一步都将走得笃定而闪耀。

Theater teaches far more than acting—it teaches listening, understanding, and collaboration; how to connect with others and ourselves. The journey ahead is long, but with passion and courage, every step our children take will shine brightly!
