国际部一年一度的创新节又与大家见面啦！今年的创新节我们将开启一段科学之旅：像科学家一样观察、思考、解决问题！
Get ready for the International Division's annual Innovation Festival! This year, we're kicking off a scientific adventure:
Learn to Observe, Think, and Solve Problems like a Scientist!
亲爱的同学们，你是否曾好奇，科学家是如何揭开世界奥秘的？他们不仅仅是在实验室里穿着白大褂的人，更是我们身边最棒的“侦探”和“创客”。今年，创新节将带你化身科学侦探，亲身体验“像科学家一样的观察、思考、解决问题”的完整探险！
Have you ever wondered how scientists unlock the world's mysteries? They are not just people in lab coats. They are the ultimate detectives and makers among us. This year, the Innovation Festival will transform you into a science detective by taking you on a hands-on journey to experience the complete process of thinking like a scientist!
科学家拥有“火眼金睛”。我们将学习如何像他们一样，调动五官、借助工具，以多种方式细致地观察和记录。从一片叶子的脉络，到一颗石头的纹理，发现隐藏的模式，做出大胆的预测。记住，一切伟大的发现，都始于最细微的观察。
Scientists have a special "eagle eye" for detail. We will learn to be just like them! This means using all our senses and tools to observe and record the world in many different ways. We'll look closely at everything, from the tiny lines on a leaf to the texture of a rock, searching for hidden patterns and making bold predictions. Remember!! Every great discovery began with noticing the smallest details.
当信息在手，我们如何让它产生价值？就像拼图一样，我们将把零散的发现拼接起来，识别背后的联系与规律。在此基础上，运用所学知识，清晰地表达你的想法，并设计出缜密、可行的行动计划——无论是为了改善健康，还是为了保护我们身边的环境。
So, what do we do with all this information? Think of it like a puzzle. Our job is to connect the pieces, find the links, and uncover the rules that make things work. Then, we'll use what we've learned to clearly share our ideas and create smart, practical plans. These plans could be for improving our own health or for protecting the world around us.
科学是一把强大的钥匙，既能开启美好，也需谨慎使用。我们将共同反思科技如何改变社会与环境，分析其中的伦理问题，倾听不同的观点。最终，理解我们每一个小小的科学行动，都可能成为推动世界向善的积极变量。
Finally, we'll remember that science is like a powerful key. It can open doors to amazing things, but we must use it wisely. We will think about how science and technology affect our society and environment. We'll discuss important questions of right and wrong, and listen to different viewpoints. Our goal is to understand that every small step we take in science can be a positive force, helping to make the world a better place for everyone.

But that's not all! This scientific feast also includes exciting lectures on Design Thinking, AI exploration, and Maker projects. So, are you ready? Let's spark our curiosity and dive in – Science, here we come!
参加“奇思妙想校长奖”Participate in the Innovation Festival
我们鼓励国际部一至五年级的学生仔细观察身边的人、物或现象，在10月17日～11月21日创新节期间选择一个问题进行研究，提交设计图、制作产品。产品类型可以是多种多样的，比如一个小发明、一段舞蹈、一幅画、电脑程序、模型作品、一个灵感、一首歌曲。
We encourage all students in Grades 1-5 of the International Division to take a close look at the people, objects, or phenomena around them. During the Innovation Festival, from October 17th to November 21st, pick a question to tackle and present your solution by submitting design sketches and creating a final product. Your creation can take many forms—it could be an invention, a dance, a painting, a computer program, a model, an original idea, or even a song!
